An Economic Evaluation Towards Sustainability: The Case of a Hybrid Renewable Energy System in Greece

There is a global effort to integrate renewable energy sources (RES) into the balance, setting out develop more sustainable future. The dependence of RES on natural phenomena and their low reliability can be mitigated by hybrid systems (HRES). In this paper, an evaluation under-study HRES in Leros, Greece, carried order examine economic viability project its contribution sustainability. Two scenarios are being examined, according eligible grant. first case, receives 40% State subsidy contrast second, which 60% funding from Innovation Fund 2020 (IF). main difference, between these two scenarios, size loan taken, whereas IF scenario it 20% less than one.
